Help Kids Program

Our goal is to teach kids skills to manage family transitions in a healthy way.  Divorce and separation is a tumultuous time. We provide a safe, supportive environment for children. Children will bond with other kids going through similar circumstances and realize they are not alone.

We help kids by:

  • Empowering them to express themselves and feel they can manage challenging situations
  • Helping them develop tools for managing feelings in a healthy way
  • Showing them how to build skills to decrease stress
  • Giving them support and perspective from peers who are also going through family transitions
  • Helping them develop new friendships
  • Increasing their self esteem and resiliency
  • Strengthening their emotional intelligence

We help parents:

  • Connect to their children’s emotional experience
  • Provide a safe, supportive environment for their children while navigating the challenges of divorce or separation
  • Support their children in expressing and managing their feelings
  • Understand and increase emotional intelligence of their children
  • Create consistency and stability at home for their children

We use a variety of art, experiential games, mindfulness practice and music to help children strengthen their social emotional intelligence and develop resiliency.
